Coming over from Apologia's blog link up! This is funny, because I just shared similar information with my daughter in law and she got my 1 year old granddaughter drinking a spinach drink and loving it!LOL

I would experiment on upping the spinach or perhaps getting the baby spinach in a bag. (just wash a little handful each morning for the smoothie) My 12 year old and I often have a smoothie in the morning and we put 4 cups, YES 4 cups!, of spinach in the blender. (also, 1 cup soy milk, 1 banana, 2 cups frozen blueberries, 2 T cocoa powder, 3 dates, and 2 T of ground flax. It comes out a dark chocolate color...but if you let it sit too long it does start turning green!LOL Anyway, it's yummy and you cannot taste the spinach at all. I do have a vita-mix ...so I don't know if a regular blender would do the job on all that. Don't be afraid to experiment, though!! Good luck!!

I have seen this around too. My year's word would have been thankful. I tried very hard to be thankful for all that I am blessed with. I thought about this year for a very long time. I would have to say that my 2012 year word is "breath." Taking time to stop and take a breather. Stop rushing and make memories.

I agree! I try to be very candid and keep it real in my posts. I LONG for the "perfect day" of school, empty clothes hamper, and immaculate home. While I try to maintain our home presentable with the beds made, living spaces uncluttered... let me say, DON'T OPEN THE CLOSET DOOR!

Like Jamie, I try to balance....but not get too nitty gritty every day. Sharing our lives and protecting, while encouraging...it's a fine line to walk!
