3. When you link to other sites, have your hyperlinks open in a new window so you don’t send people away from your site completely.
4. Have a clear way for people to contact you. Not everyone has Twitter/Facebook (*gasp*!), so make sure that you either have your email address in a prominent place, or a contact form on your site. If you use wordpress, go to plugins in your admin panel, and do a search for contact forms.
5. Don’t overload your sidebars – especially if you have a lot of things that take a while to load (it bogs down your site).
