I don't know about the rest of you Ultimate Blog Party Goers, but I did not want to get up this morning!  Why, you may ask?  Because I was up all hours of the night surfing around the great Blogs at the party!  Now I'm sleepy....  :-( Anyway..here are some ideas for staying awake today (or tonight, if you want to stay up all night again!  ;-) ), or any other time you need to stay awake for some reason.  (I, personally, love to sleep and it takes something ultra fantastic to keep me up!)

1.  Put on your swimsuit, jack up the air conditioning.
2.  Turn on the coffee pot, but sure to add chocolate!
3.  I read somewhere that drinking a lot of water will help.  I guess it will but those potty breaks would get annoying!
4. Eat a lot of snacks.  (great, another reason to go off my diet!)
5. Go for a walk. (well, I guess it would help to counteract number four.)
6. Read some jokes online.  Jokes and laughter stimulate the mind and will help to keep you awake.

Being snowed in by 12 inches of the fluffy, white stuff, I decided it was a good time to try and find some new blogs to read.  I already read many...close to 100, so why am I looking for more?  No, I don't read every word of all 100, I mostly scan the posts and if it seems interesting I'll go ahead and read the full post. I came across Motherwise Cracks.  Specifically, this post about looking through old pictures.  She writes about also being snowed in (I wonder if she lives close by <twilight zone music in background>) anyway...she tells about going through pictures with her children.  A few of the realizations she has come to that I agree with the most: #7  You will get blamed for the rotten fashion sense that you tried to warn your kids about but they wouldn’t listen to. #8 Putting bunny ears on someone while taking their photo can be overdone. #12 It isn’t warm fuzzies you’ll feel when you hear your kids say, “Mom, you used to be so pretty.” Please go take a look at her list..it's quite funny.
