I have fallen in love with this easy baby blanket pattern from Moogly Blog called Leaping Stripes and Blocks. It’s a very easy pattern and works up pretty quickly.
I’ve made several baby blankets including blankets for a Children’s hospital using this pattern, and I even made a twin-sized blanket for my sister and her new husband for their wedding gift (to use as a lap-blanket when they’re hanging out on the couch).
Honestly, I keep forgetting to take pictures of the projects that I’ve made, but I’m trying to get better about it.
This particular blanket can be done in any combination of colors, and the instructions show how to make them for every size (I love that!). I also love that you don’t have to weave in any ends for each color change. Just make sure that when you carry the yarn up that you give it enough give so your sides don’t scrunch up.
