7 Days of Hope…..for the Weary Homeschooling Mom

Are you a weary Momma?  Are you looking for some hope?  A balm for your soul?

Brooke McGlothlin (of BrookeMcGlothlin.com and co-founder of  The M.O.B. Society) & Stacey Thacker (from 29 Lincoln Avenue and MODSquadBlog) teamed up a while back to write an oh-so-encouraging ebook, Hope for the Weary Mom: Where God Meets You In Your Mess.

I am proud and honored to announce that I am an Ambassador of  Hope for the Weary Homeschooling Mom.

From June 12th-18th I will be hosting a link-up here on my blog.  I hope you will link up your blog or join in the comments section as we discuss Hope for the Weary Mom and uplift and encourage one another.

How do you get the ebook?

Don’t have a kindle?  Download a free Kindle-to-PC app that allows you to read kindle books right on your computer or any of the following devices:

2. Enter to win a copy.
For a chance to win a copy of this ebook here, please just leave me a comment letting me know why you would like to win this and/or what area you are most in need of encouragement.
Please make sure to leave a valid email address for me to contact you with.

That’s it.  No other hoops to jump through.  I know you’re weary, Momma – I get it!  🙂

I'll be joining in this week! I just found out about it but so glad I did! 🙂

  2. Keeping on when life's circumstances don't allow you to be YOUR ideal of a mom… 🙂 God's plans sometimes don't match what we see as good and right – and it's hard to adjust.

Hi, I’m from the Philippines. I’m a new homeschool mom of 8 & 6 year old boys on top of 2 month old baby. My husband & I have decided for me to follow in faith God’s calling for me to be full time wife & mother thus I just quit my job last June 1. We just started homeschool school year this week & just realized how challenging it was in terms of time management given baby & lesson planning given numerous resources available. Without Christ, this whole thing is mission impossible. Thus I thank the Lord for such fellowship activities like this that enables me to connect with other moms & learn from each other. I would like to join your group. Thank you.

What a blessing to run into this blogpost! This end of the school year time is always very weary for me because as a homeschooling mom I am always trying to sum up our year and bring meaningful closure to my children's hearts and minds so that they can celebrate their accomplishments as they watch there friends and community do the same. Sometimes I just "feel" like I have not done enough and have to muster up enough energy to begin to think about our next season of schooling as we do continue through the summer! I feel sapped of idea's, creativity and quite frankly just feel EMPTY…nothing more to give…PERIOD! Today I dropped to my knees and just cried out to God really needing to be affirmed, strengthened and encouraged for my next steps…desperate would not be a bad adjective for my heart condition today! The title of this book could not be more appropriate for me…would love to win but even more to be encouraged by some fellow soujourners!! I

  5. I would love to win…I need encouragement in so many areas right now! An area where I really struggle is in giving each child what he needs when I am stretched so thin…I feel like I am failing on every front!

  6. I'd love to win – I have one who is very difficult to work with – I have many days of needing encouragement! Prayer gets me through 😉
