All right, I admit it. I’m running around like crazy today….dealing with “things” that need to be done….trying to finish a *few* more last-minute details so I can relax and enjoy the reason for the season:
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)
One of the things on my to-do list is to finish the food gifts that I like to give out at Christmas time. I was able to do that this morning because these are fairly quick and mostly easy recipes. In case you’re scrambling for a last-minute gift idea, I wanted to share this here with you.
The World’s Easiest Fudge Recipe
Melt 2 bags of chocolate chips on the stovetop.
Stir in 2 containers of Cake Frosting (any flavor – you can change it up here for a variety.)
Spread into 9×13 pan and cool in refrigerator until firm.
Cut & serve.
Easy, right??
I’m also making these awesome Buckeye Bars which are MUCH less time-consuming than (but just as yummy as) its cousin, the Buckeye Ball. I doubled the recipe and used a 9×13 pan for this as well.
