My 6-year-old took this picture and asked me to post it on my blog.
(Lucky for you I don’t post every single such picture that he takes for you all here!) 🙂
If you know me, I hate trying to figure out snacks (and lunch. Oh wait, and dinner).
Moms who enjoy cooking for their families may look into cooking classes via accredited online colleges.
It can’t have a lot of sugar (do you know that they recommend 7 grams of sugar or less per serving for kids?), it has to be yummy, and the kids have to actually EAT it. That’s not too much to ask, is it?
This is a fun little snack that my son was able to make on his own.
I gave him the ingredients:
unsalted raw sunflower seeds (the kind that aren’t in the shell). I guess you call those shelled? Though in a sane world it would seem that the SHELLED ones are….well, in a shell. Right? Or is that just me? But I digress.
The smiley-face was all his idea. Cute, huh? My little one wanted no part of this, but my bottomless pit son loved it!
